GOLDBERG NAMED PUBLIC INTEREST FACULTY OF THE YEAR
 
April 22, 2008 (NEW YORK) - Suzanne Goldberg, clinical professor of law, will be presented with the 2008 Public Interest Faculty of the Year Award on April 24 at a dinner in the Low Library Rotunda. The award, given by students, recognizes “a faculty member or administrator who has supported and inspired a significant portion of the public interest law student community at the Law School.”
 
Thursday’s dinner will be hosted by the Center for Public Interest Law Social Justice Initiatives. Goldberg, who directs Columbia’s Sexuality and Gender Law Clinic, joined the Columbia faculty in Fall 2006.
