Professor Tim Wu from the Law School will be giving a talk this Wednesday, December 6th at 5:00 PM in Lerner Cinema titled "Net Neutrality and the Future of the Internet." No registration necessary. Light refreshments will be served.

Tim Wu, currently a tenured professor of telecom and copyright law at the Columbia Law School, is famed for his articulating and popularizing the notion of "network neutrality." In its December 2006 issue, Scientific American named him one of the year's 50 top achievers for this work. This year he came out with his first book, Who Controls the Internet?: Illusions of a Borderless World, which he co-authored with Jack Goldsmith. Professor Wu is also a frequent contributor to Slate magazine and a frequent guest on NPR.
