Columbia Law Regains Trophy with a Decisive Win Over NYU

Columbia Law emerged victorious after student players in the fifth annual Deans' Cup basketball game between Columbia Law School and New York University School of Law took their rivalry to court on April 6.  Columbia Law students won by a score of 67-47. 

In the much-anticipated faculty halftime game, team captain Michael Dorf led the Columbia Law faculty to narrowly edge out the NYU professors by a score of 3-2. 

The event raised $100,000 for public-interest law projects and community service organizations at both universities.

The annual co-ed basketball game was founded by students from both schools and will be sponsored by LeBoeuf, Lamb, Greene & MacRae LLP (Champion Sponsor), as well as Cahill Gordon & Reindel LLP, Clifford Chance US LLP, Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker LLP, Proskauer Rose LLP, Sidley Austin Brown & Wood LLP, Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP, and Mayer, Brown, Rowe & Maw LLP (All-Star Sponsors).
