  Merritt Fox and John Coffee Debate Case Before Supreme Court   
Columbia Law professor Merritt Fox's article concerning Broudo v. Dura Pharmaceuticals, a securities case before the U.S. Supreme Court, will be published in the February 2005 issue of The Business Lawyer. Professor John C. Coffee, also of Columbia Law School, is publishing a comment on Prof. Fox's article in the same issue. Read two contending points of view concerning this current case.
  
  Hamilton vs. Jefferson   
As part of its Bernard and Irene Schwartz Distinguished Speaker Series, the New-York Historical Society—in conjunction with the Virginia Historical Society—will co-sponsor a debate between alumni from the law schools of Columbia University and the University of Virginia, speaking on behalf of Alexander Hamilton and Thomas Jefferson, respectively on Thursday, January 6, 6:30 p.m., New-York Historical Society, 170 Central Park West (Between 76th and 77th Streets).
