  Bob Barker Gives Law School $1 Million for Animal Rights Law   
Bob Barker, the host of the Emmy award winning "The Price Is Right" and an animal rights activist, has made a $1 million gift to the Law School to support the study of animal rights.

Columbia Law School honors Harvey J. Goldschmid ’65 and Paul, Weiss for their commitment to social responsibility.
  
  The War in Iraq: Is it Legal? (Does it Matter?)   
George P. Fletcher, Cardozo Professor of Jurisprudence at Columbia Law School, and Ruth Wedgwood, Edward B. Burling Professor of International Law and Diplomacy at the Paul Nitze School of Advanced International Studies at Johns Hopkins University, will debate the legality of the war in Iraq. Peter Osnos, Publisher and CEO of PublicAffairs Books, will moderate, and Michael Doyle, Harold Brown Professor of U.S. Foreign and Security Policy at Columbia Law School and School of Int'l and Public Affairs, will serve as interlocutor.
