Ellen Chapnick, the Dean for Social Justice Initiatives at Columbia Law School, has been tapped to receive the Father Drinan Award given by the Association of American Law Schools’ Section on Pro Bono and Public Interest Opportunity.
  
  Columbia Law Announces Peter Jay Sharp Scholars   
More than 30 students vied to become the first recipients of the Peter Jay Sharp Scholarship, one of Columbia Law School's most generous and competitive honors. The award, created last year, covers the students’ tuition and living expenses for a maximum of $50,000 a year during the scholars' three years in law school.
