Merrill Wins Property Rights Prize

The William & Mary Property Rights Project recently awarded the Brigham-Kanner Property Rights Prize to Columbia Law School Professor Thomas W. Merrill, the Charles Evans Hughes Professor of Law. Lynda Butler, a professor of law at William & Mary Law School and director of the project, noted that Merrill was honored for his academic work in the field and for inspiring others “to think about property’s relationship to the human condition, and its importance to our social, economic, and political systems.”
