Columbia Law School Professor Victor P. Goldberg was elected to the American Law Institute (ALI) this spring. The ALI, which was founded in 1923, works to clarify, simplify, and modernize law through scholarship. Goldberg, the Jerome L. Greene Professor of Transactional Law, is a renowned expert on law and economics. He is also one of the developers of Columbia Law School’s popular Deals course. Goldberg writes extensively on issues relating to antitrust, commercial litigation, regulation, and contracts.
