Sanger Presents Distinguished Lecture on Post-Adoption Rights

Fall 2013

Columbia Law School Professor Carol Sanger recently discussed the evolution of post-adoption visitation rights during her Sidney and Walter Siben Distinguished Professorship Lecture in Family Law at Hofstra University’s Maurice A. Deane School of Law. Sanger, the Law School’s Barbara Aronstein Black Professor of Law, focused specifically on the open adoption process, and how it has become more prevalent in modern society. Sanger’s lecture, “Bargaining for Motherhood: Post-adoption Visitation Agreements,” is slated to appear in the Hofstra Law Review.
