More Graduates Earn Prestigious Appointments

Continuing a long legacy of Columbia Law School graduates serving in high-level government positions, Richard Seeborg ’81 and Cynthia L. Quarterman ’87 have recently accepted appointments to distinguished posts.

Seeborg, a U.S. magistrate judge, has been appointed to serve on the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California. In addition, Quarterman was selected to become the administrator of the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration at the Department of Transportation.
