The Columbia Law School Information Technology (IT) Department provides stable & easy-to-use technology that supports the academic and administrative functions of the law school. The goal of the department is to provide support to all our patrons with cheerful readiness and promptness.
The IT department will work closely with any member of the Law school community who needs specialized ADA or medically related software or hardware. The department will be responsible for the following issues regarding the request(s) and recommendations by CLS students, staff & faculty member who are in need of ideas and/or help:
Search for software and hardware that meets the needs of the CLS employee.
Arrange appointments with vendors to evaluate hardware and software for the needs of CLS staff or faculty who are in ADA status.
Install & configure computer(s), recommended by vendors.
Support software by contacting the vendor of specialized software.
