CALI : Computer Assisted Legal Instruction

Law students at Columbia University have access to over 115 computer-based lessons, tutorials, and games in the following subjects:

Use the lessons at school :

From any CU Law School Computer

Use the following steps launch the CALI Program

  • Log in to your student account
  • Click on "Start Button"
  • Mouse over "Law School Applications"
  • Mouse over "Course Materials Online"
  • Click on "CALI Program"

To start a lesson in the CALI Program

  • Click on "CALI Lessons" (This brings you to the CALI Lesson subject areas)
  • Click on the subject of choice (All subjects are in blue and underlined)
  • Click on lesson from list (Lesson may take a few seconds to launch)
  • Navigate through lessons using <- , -> , Back Button, Next Button

To exit a lesson or the CALI Program

  • Click on the "X" button on the upper right of the appropriate window

Download the lessons directly from the CALI Web Site

Use Webolis to run the lessons over the internet
