We need at least two business days notice for events taking place during normal working hours. "Normal working hours" refers to weekday events which begin after 8:45 a.m. and end before 6:00 p.m. Reservations for equipment before or after hours need to be made as far in advance as possible in order to allow for scheduling staff beyond normal working hours. Weekend reservations for equipment requires even more notice and are only accepted conditionally on staff availability. If we are unable to provide you with support we will work with you to find a suitable solution.
During certain times of the year, such as before exams, religious holidays, etc., especially heavy demands are made on equipment and staff, so it is advisable to make reservations as early in the semester as possible. Also, any activity requiring audiovisual support on a frequent basis or weekend use may need approval by the Law School for additional funding.
If we do not have equipment you need, it may be possible to rent it if we are provided sufficient notice to allow time for placing the order and transporting to your event.
