On Friday, January 23, 2009 Columbia Law School hosted a day-long symposium on on the myriad of issues surrounding secondary liability. The 2009 symposium, entitled "Copyright Intermediaries: Inviting or Averting Infringement?", keynote speaker was Ninth Circuit Judge Alex Kozinski. The panels discussed the evolution of secondary liability in copyright, Section 512's merits and flaws, and the issues raised by filtering. The event was held at Jerome L. Greene Hall at Columbia Law School.
