Columbia Law School provides a Do-It-Yourself password manager self-service tool.
You are invited to create or update your personal Questions and Answers profile in order to use this service. Your personal Questions and Answers profile will be encrypted in the Password Manager System, and NOT visible to anyone, including the Administrator of the Password Manager System.
To create or update your Q&A profile, open the Self-Service site home page at http://lawpwrecover.law.columbia.edu/PMUser, find your account by entering your first and/or last name or user name, and then click My Questions and Answers Profile and following the wizard's instructions.
For your security, your new password must be 8 - 64 characters, without spaces and cannot be the same as your previous password.
Other password requirements:
The password cannot be more than 180 days old
The password must contain characters from three of the following four categories:
 at least 1 English uppercase character (A through Z)
 at least 1 English lowercase character (a through z)
 at least 1 Numeral (0 through 9)
 at least 1 Non-alphabetic character (such as !, $, #, %)
The password must contain at least 3 alphabetic characters
The password cannot contain the first 4 characters of your account property values (your login name, your first name, or your last name)
The password cannot contain more than 3 characters repeated in succession, 3 characters direct or inverse numerical or alphabetical order
The password must meet the password history requirements of the system (the number of passwords to store: 5).
The password must contain at least 8 characters (no more than 64 characters)
