Amidst pomp, circumstance and pageantry and before a crowd of 4,200 family, friends and faculty, 680 Columbia Law School graduates received their J.D., LL.M., or J.S.D. degrees on the University’s South Lawn Thursday afternoon, May 17, 2007.

Judge Robert D. Sack, LL.B. ’63, of the U.S. Court of Appeals, Second Circuit, addressed the graduating class.
The graduates awarded Professor Carol Sanger the 2007 Willis L.M. Reese Prize for Excellence in Teaching.
