Whitney Elliott is a staff attorney in the Immigration Law Unit at The Legal Aid Society, where he represents clients before the Executive Office for Immigration Review, and also before the federal courts. Whitney joined The Legal Aid Society in 2014. Before joining Legal Aid, he had a solo practice that focused on removal defense. He has also worked as a paralegal, and later as a staff attorney, in the Immigration Representation Project at Legal Services of New Jersey, where he mainly represented detained noncitizens before the Executive Office for Immigration Review. Whitney received his J.D. from Seton Hall Law School, and his B.A. from Rutgers College.
