Sheldon H. Elsen is a founder and partner in Orans Elsen Lupert & Brown.

He is known for arbitrating and mediating complex commercial matters and international litigation. Elsen previously served as vice president of the New York City Bar Association and as chief counsel of the NYS Moreland Act Commission.

Elsen has authored many articles in law reviews on Miranda rights, securities and corporate litigation, court congestion, trial practice, corporate litigation, complex litigation, current trials, current litigation problems, judicial administration, and the New York fiscal crisis.

He was named as one of the Best Lawyers in America in 2014.

Elsen received his J.D. from Harvard Law School, his A.M. from Harvard University, his A.B. from Princeton University.
