Kenneth Rivlin

Ken Rivlin is the head of Allen & Overy's global environmental law group, U.S. environmental and regulatory law group and U.S. pro bono program. He and his team advise on environmental and regulatory risk in transactions involving virtually every industrial sector, compliance with U.S. and E.U. environmental requirements, including the WEEE and RoHS Directives and REACH; emissions trading and climate change; environmental disputes; toxic tort risk; SEC disclosure requirements; and corporate governance issues. Rivlin also advises on the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, on dealings with OFAC-sanctioned countries, Exon-Florio, and similar matters.

Rivlin previously worked at Cravath, Swaine & Moore from 1996 to 2001 and at McCarter & English from 1994 to 1996. He is a member of the New York City Bar Association's committee on international environmental law, and also writes and speaks frequently on environmental and regulatory matters.
