Karin McNair is a Vice President of Rockefeller Trust Company, N.A., where she advises families on charitable giving and tax-efficient intergenerational wealth transfers.  She also advises private foundations on grant administration, governance, tax and regulatory matters, and provides counsel to the Trust Company on fiduciary matters.  Prior to joining Rockefeller, Karin practiced trusts and estates law as an associate with Hughes Hubbard & Reed LLP.  She earned a J.D. from Columbia Law School in 2000, and a B.A. from Vanderbilt University in 1997.  While at Columbia Law School, she was a member of the Columbia Journal of Law and the Arts and a recipient of the Joseph Solomon Fellowship.
