Guy Petrillo

Guy Petrillo is a partner at Petrillo Klein & Boxer and a member of the white collar crime committee of the New York City Bar Association. 

In 2008 and 2009, he served as chief of the criminal division of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York, and, from 1990 to 1997, served as an assistant U.S. attorney in the same office.

In 2001 and 2012 Petrillo was recognized in Chambers as a leading practitioner in white collar defense, in Avenue’s “Legal Elite” as a top litigation practitioner, and in Super Lawyers NYC in the practice area of criminal white collar defense. In 2011, he was named a Fellow of Litigation Counsel of America.  

Petrillo has been a lecturer in law at Columbia Law School since 2010, and has regularly been a panelist in continuing legal education programs sponsored by Practicing Law Institute and other organizations.
