Alexandra D. Korry is a partner in the mergers and acquisitions and private equity groups at Sullivan & Cromwell in New York City. She has extensive experience advising clients on a wide variety of public and private mergers and acquisitions transactions, as well as on corporate governance, takeover defense, and related intellectual property matters.
Korry is a member of Sullivan & Cromwell’s hiring and diversity committees and a member of the New York City Bar Association’s committee on mergers, acquisitions and corporate control contests. She is a former chair and member of the Board of the Harlem Educational Activities Fund, an after-school program for New York City public school students in underserved communities. Korry is a retired member of the Duke Law School’s board of visitors.
Korry is consistently recognized as a leading mergers and acquisitions lawyer by Chambers, The Best Lawyers in America, and other publications.
Korry received her J.D. from Duke University School of Law in 1986. Korry went on to earn a M.Sc. in international relations from the London School of Economics and Political Science in 1981. She also graduated with an A.B. from Harvard College in 1980.
