Biography
Yasuhide Watanabe is a resident partner of Nagashima Ohno &
Tsunematsu NY LLP
in New York as well as a partner of Nagashima Ohno & Tsunematsu in
Tokyo. He represents and advises clients on a variety of international
transactions, including M&As, joint ventures, licenses, and
corporate
restructuring, as well as dispute resolution. He is admitted in Japan
and to
the state bars in New York and California. He is a graduate of the
University of Tokyo (LL.B.) and Columbia Law School (LL.M.) and was a
visiting
guest lecturer/professor at Columbia Law School in 2008 and 2011. He is a
regular guest speaker and lecturer, and the author of a number of legal
articles, including “U.S. Antitrust Law” published by The University of
Tokyo
Press in 2012.
