Viren Mascarenhas is a graduate from Columbia Law School, where he was a Kent Scholar and received the Whitney N. Seymour Trial Advocacy Medal. Subsequently, he clerked for H.E. President Rosalyn Higgins at the International Court of Justice in The Hague, The Netherlands. He has worked as a litigation and international arbitration assoicate at the law firm of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP in New York, and also as a legal officer at the Special Court for Sierra Leone in Freetown, Sierra Leone. Presently, he is an associate in the International Arbitration Group of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer US LLP in New York.
