Vincent M. Di Lorenzo is Professor of Law at St. John’s University School of Law, and Senior Research Fellow, Vincentian Center for Church and Society at St. John’s University. Before joining the law faculty at St. John’s, Professor DiLorenzo was a member of the faculty at The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, and was associated with the Wall Street firm of Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft.  

He is a member of the American Bar Association and the New York State Bar Association.  He is a member of the Executive Committee of the Real Property Section of the New York State Bar Association and Co-Editor of the N.Y. Real Property Law Journal. He is also a fellow of the American Bar Foundation.

Professor DiLorenzo has authored many articles and books in the field of banking law and regulation, real estate law, and real estate finance. His research explores issues of community reinvestment and development, consumer protection, and corporate ethics and social responsibility.

He received his J.D. from Columbia University Law School in 1978 where he was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar.
