Detailed Biography:
Susan Marks is a professor of public international law at King's College London. Prior to joining King's in 2006, she taught at the University of Cambridge and was a fellow of Emmanuel College, Cambridge.

Her research centers on international law and human rights, and draws from the traditions of critical theory. In previous writings, she has addressed issues which include democracy, imperialism, torture and hunger. Her current work is concerned with exploitation and dispossession.
