Detailed Biography:
Prior to attending law school, worked for two years in research and development in the semiconductor industry. Law clerk to Louis H. Pollak, U.S. District Judge for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Joined the Columbia faculty in 1981. Principal areas of interest are in administrative law, occupational safety, environmental law, law and science, and torts.
