Detailed Biography Simon Deakin, Robert Monks Professor of Corporate Governance at Judge Business School, University of Cambridge, is a fellow of the British Academy. He was a visiting fellow at Columbia Law in 2003. Simon Deakin spent 11 years teaching in the Cambridge University's Faculty of Law before taking up his current position as Robert Monks Professor of Corporate Governance at Judge Business School, Cambridge. Professor Deakin is acting director of the Centre for Business Research, where he leads a programme of study into corporate governance. He is also Yorke Professorial Research Fellow in the Faculty of Law at Cambridge. At the CBR, he is currently leading two new research projects on 'Law, Finance and Development' and 'Reflexive Governance in the Public Interest'. Recent Publications- Deakin, S. and Wilkinson, F.
