Richard Liskov

Richard G. Liskov is a partner at the international law firm of Holland & Knight LLP. Previously he practiced with the firms of Chadbourne & Parke LLP and White & Case LLP. Mr. Liskov’s practice focuses on insurance regulatory, transactional and litigation matters. He regularly counsels corporate and banking clients on regulatory and coverage issues, as well as advising and representing insurers, reinsurers and intermediaries. From 1989 to 1992, Mr. Liskov was the Deputy Superintendent and General Counsel of the New York State Insurance Department. From 1980 to 1989, Mr. Liskov served as New York Assistant Attorney General, focusing on matters involving the Insurance Department, including service as Litigation Deputy Chief.
Mr. Liskov is cited in the 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012 edition of
SuperLawyers in the specialty of business litigation. He is also cited in the
International Who’s Who of Insurance and Reinsurance Lawyers. He received the President’s Distinguished Service Award from the National Association of Attorneys General in 1989.
Mr. Liskov has served since 2009 as a member of the Insurance Law Committee of the New York City Bar Association and was co-chair of its sub-committee on legislation.

Business Insurance, American Banker, Law 360.com, and
Best's Review. He has also addressed numerous organizations including the National Conference of Insurance Legislators and Mealey's Insurance and Reinsurance Roundtable.
