Paul K. Sonn

Paul Sonn has been legal co-director of the National Employment Law Project (NELP) since 2008. NELP is a policy and advocacy organization focused on the challenges facing the U.S. labor market in the 21st century economy. From 1999 to 2008, he was co-director of the Economic Justice Project at New York University’s Brennan Center for Justice. From 1994 to 1999, he was a Skadden Fellow and then a staff attorney at the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund. He received his A.B. from Dartmouth College (1988), and his J.D. from Yale Law School (1992). He served as a law clerk for Judge Thelton Henderson of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, and for Judge Lanier Anderson of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
