Detailed Biography:

Leslie Gordon Fagen is a senior partner in the Litigation Department at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP. He has more than 30 years of experience in handling complex civil litigation matters.

Mr. Fagen is recognized for his broad experience across an array of legal disciplines, including antitrust, intellectual property, product liability, securities law issues and insurance, and is noted as a leading attorney in commercial litigation matters by Chambers USA, Chambers Global, The International Who’s Who of Business Lawyers, and Lawdragon 500. Mr. Fagen’s work on behalf of clients was profiled in a January 2006 American Lawyer cover story, “The Lifesavers,” in which Paul, Weiss was selected as the best litigation firm in the United States. He has served as co-chair of the firm’s Litigation Department and as a member of the firm’s management committee.

Mr. Fagen is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers.

He is a member of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York, and has served on several Bar committees, including committees on the Judiciary, State Legislation and Transportation. He is also a member of the American Bar Association and International Bar Association, and has been a member of the New York State Bar Association Section of Commercial and Federal Litigation, where he served as chairman of the Committee on Magistrate Judges.

Aside from teaching at Columbia, Mr. Fagen is an Adjunct Professor of Law at Brooklyn Law School.

He is a director of the Lawyers Committee for Civil Rights Under Law and a director of The Kohlberg Foundation, Inc. He has served as a member of the Board of Trustees of Maimonides Medical Center, and trustee, president and vice chairman of The Educational Alliance, Inc., a multi-disciplinary social service agency.
