Larry Jacobs is the Managing Attorney for Davis Polk & Wardwell where he also serves as the firm's Litigation Counsel and Director of Training for Litigation.
Mr. Jacobs graduated from Bennington College in 1978 and in 1985 received his J.D., cum laude, from New York University School of Law, where he was a Baer Memorial Scholar, the Senior Articles editor of the New York University Law Review, and a member of the Order of the Coif.
Mr. Jacobs clerked for the Honorable Phyllis A. Kravitch, U.S. Court of Appeals, Eleventh Circuit, from 1985 to 1986. He is the author of Ex Parte Information and the Appellate Review of Capital Sentences, 60 N.Y.U.L. Rev. 104 (1985).
Prior to joining Davis Polk in 1997, Mr. Jacobs had been a litigator with Paul Weiss Rifkind Wharton & Garrison and Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel.
