Jason W. Parsont is a Lecturer-in-Law and a Post-Doctoral Research Scholar for Professor John C. Coffee, Jr. His research is focused on securities regulation, corporate law, and the root causes of the recent financial crisis. Prior to re-joining Columbia Law School, Jason practiced corporate and securities law at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP in New York from 2007-2011. In addition, he was a Careers-in-Law-Teaching Fellow at Columbia Law School and a clerk to the Honorable Judge Paul C. Huck in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
Jason is the Editor-At-Large of the CLS Blue Sky Blog, Columbia Law School's Blog on Corporations and the Capital Markets.
