Lecturer in Law
Iris Lan is an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Southern District of New York, where she currently serves as a Deputy Chief Appellate Attorney in the U.S. Attorney's Office's Criminal Division. She was previously a member of the office's terrorism unit and has handled a wide range of national security matters. During her time at the U.S. Attorney's Office, Iris has also held several concurrent appointments at the Department of Justice in Washington, DC, serving in the Office of Legal Counsel and the National Security Division. Iris is a graduate of Harvard University, where she received her undergraduate, master's, and law degrees.
