Co-Chair of Debevoise’s Private Equity Group and a member of the Mergers &
Acquisitions Group, Ms.Blassberg has helped to build one
of the preeminent law firm private equity practices in the world.She has deep experience counseling private
and public companies in domestic and international acquisitions and
divestitures, securities offerings and other transactions.She originated and acts as editor-in-chief of
the Debevoise & Plimpton Private Equity Report.She is also editor of The Private Equity Primer: The Best of the Debevoise & Plimpton
Private Equity Report and co-editor of The Debevoise & Plimpton
European Private Equity Handbook.
Ms.Blassberg received her B.A.
with distinction from CornellUniversity in 1975 and her J.D. magna cum laude from
CornellLawSchool
in 1977, where she was an editor of the Cornell Law Review.Ms.Blassberg is a frequent speaker at
seminars and a contributor to legal and other periodicals on acquisitions and
private equity topics.She has
co-chaired for many years the annual Advanced ALI-ABA Course of Study on
Corporate Mergers and Acquisitions sponsored by the American Law
Institute-American Bar Association Committee on Continuing Professional
Education.
