B.A. Colgate University, 1971; J.D., Georgetown University Law Center, 1974.  Founding Partner of Bregman, Berbert, Schwartz & Gilday, LLC.  Doug has maintained a general civil practice for over 35 years concentrating in transactional real estate and business representation, real estate and business dispute mediation and arbitration, and civil litigation.  Adjunct Professor Law at Georgetown University Law Center since 1992, teaching a course entitled:  “Drafting and Negotiating Commercial Real Estate Documents:  Contracts, Loan Documents, and Leases.”  Recipient, Georgetown University Law Center’s Charles Fahy Distinguished Adjunct Professor of the Year Award, 2008.  Author:  Maryland Landlord-Tenant Law, Practice and Procedure, Fourth Edition 2009, published by LexisNexis; and Successful Real Estate Negotiation (with Peter G.
