Lecturer in Law
Chad Pimentel is an Agency Attorney for the New York City Department of Education, where he advises the Department on litigation matters involving employment law, civil rights, and the operation of the city's schools. B.A. University of Pennsylvania 1999. J.D. Georgetown University Law Center 2002. Prior to joing the DOE, Chad was associated with the law firms of Davis Polk & Wardwell and Friedman Kaplan Seiler & Adelman, where his practice focused on complex civil litigation and internal investigations.
In addition to his public sector and law firm experience, Chad served as Deputy State Voter Protection Coordinator in Missouri for the 2008 Presidential campaign of then-Senator Barack Obama, training volunteer attorneys and law students on aspects of federal and state election law.
