Adjunct Professor of Law and of Civil Engineering and Engineering Mechanics
Bettina Quintas has been Assistant General Counsel with the New York Transit Authority since 1998, where she focuses on commercial litigation and contracts. She has served as attorney consultant, attorney and then associate attorney with the Transit Authority since 1994.
She worked at Terminal One Group Association in New York inn1994-95 as an independent consultant to a consortium of four airlines, drafting and and negotiating the construction management and architect/engineer contracts for the construction of Terminal One at Kennedy Airport. From 1989 to 1994 she worked at Parsons Brinkerhoff in New York, drafting and reviewing contracts for building and infrastructure projects.
She earned her B.A. in 1985 from New York University, her M.A. in politics in 1988 from New York University, and her J.D. in 1991 from Benjamin Cardozo School of Law.
