Anne E. Green is the Director of Academic Counseling and Judicial Programming at Columbia Law School. In that role, she advises students regarding judicial clerkships, leads the judicial outreach and programming effort, oversees the law journals and provides academic counseling as a member of the Office of Student Services.
Prior to joining CLS, Anne was a litigator at Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan, LLP and Ropes and Gray LLP from 2006-2012. Her practice included a variety of litigation matters in the areas of complex commercial litigation, employment law, securities law and government enforcement. She received recognition for pro bono work in the areas of asylum and art law.
Anne received her B.S. in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University in 2002, and her J.D., Order of the Coif and cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania Law School in 2005. During law school, she served as an editor of the University of Pennsylvania Law Review and a Legal Writing Instructor. From 2005-2006, she served as a Law Clerk to Judge Mary A. McLaughlin of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
