Students, faculty and staff are invited to participate in a production of The Exonerated with professional direction from Zhailon Levingston, who has worked with the CLS community on Broadway Advocacy Coalition performances. The Exonerated, which won Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Awards for best play, tells the interwoven true stories of six wrongfully convicted survivors of death row, in their own words. This mini-workshop is for everyone who wants to explore getting involved as performers, members of the production team, or a few specialized roles as researchers and dramaturgists.
No previous acting or production experience necessary. We are looking for enthusiastic people who are curious about theater as an advocacy tool and feel passionate about helping us bring this powerful story to life!
Lunch will be provided. Contact Ellen Chapnick for more information at firstname.lastname@example.org
