How have events in Charlottesville, along with other recent developments involving race, affected the law school community? How do individuals from different groups negotiate the law school and the legal environment in the face of these developments? How can we equip ourselves to meet these crucial challenges? Faculty and students will share their experiences, followed by small group discussions.
A non-pizza lunch will be served. This event is sponsored by the Public Interest Lawyering and Leadership Committee and SJI. The Lawyering for Change series is a monthly workshop aimed at providing an opportunity for faculty, students, staff, and alumni to interact informally with each other, framed by brief remarks about an issue or topic relating to the general theme.
