The Columbia Law School Legal Technology Association (CLS Legal Tech) and the Columbia Law and Entrepreneurship Society (CLES) are pleased to announce a lunch talk in the form of a moderated, interactive discussion with Jerry Ting and Jake Sussman, both Harvard Law School JD-students and founders of the legal tech start-up Evisort.
Evisort is a startup founded at Harvard Law and MIT utilizing artificial intelligence algorithms to help enterprises manage contracts across their organizations. Companies rely heavily on contracts but struggle to manage their legal documents - Evisort removes the need for expensive, tedious, and inaccurate human review. Evisort’s algorithms can analyze the content of contracts and classify the content and extract important operational data from even scanned documents to help general counsels, controllers, sales professionals, and other departments in their day-to-day operations.
The discussion with Jerry and Jake will cover the founding of Evisort, the current and future developments within the legal market, and how law students can prepare to meet the tech-related requirements as legal professionals. Finally, Jerry and Jake will show you a short demo of how Evisort works.
We are looking forward to a thrilling discussion!
Lunch will be served.
We encourage you to RSVP by Friday January 19, 2018, noon.
