After serving from 2009-2017 as General Counsel for the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI), Bob Litt recently joined the Columbia Law School community as an Adjunct Research Scholar in the National Security Law Program. He is also of counsel in Morrison & Foerster’s national security and global risk & crisis management practices. Earlier in his career, Mr. Litt worked at the Department of Justice, serving as Deputy Assistant Attorney General in the Criminal Division and as the Principal Associate Deputy Attorney General. He also served as special advisor to the Assistant Secretary of State for European and Canadian Affairs, as well as Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York.
