Some students will be notified on their SAR that the information they submitted on their FAFSA needs to be verified. Selection for this verification process is made by the federal processor and is generally random. The verification process must be completed before we will certify federal loan applications.
For the 2009-2010 academic year, the verification process requires that students submit to the Financial Aid Office complete signed 2008 federal tax returns (including W-2's and all schedules and attachments), and the 2009-2010 Verification Worksheet. We will send you the worksheet upon request or you can print the 2009-2010 Verification Worksheet from our website. Additional forms or documents may need to be submitted to the Financial Aid Office to satisfy federal regulations, including but not limited to confirmation of registration with Selective Service and citizenship status.
