Academic Counseling
The Office of Student Services provides numerous academic services to law students.  Our directors, Marta Ricardo and Ilene Strauss, are available to assist you with course selection, explain degree requirements and help you manage your academic work.  Transfer students and those considering joint degrees are particularly encouraged to meet with a director at the start of your first year here in order to assess your required course load at Columbia. You are also welcome to make an appointment to discuss any academic concerns you may have.
