The Career Services Office provides a broad range of services and programs to support students and graduates of the law school in their career decision-making process. The January LL.M. Job Fair is run through Career Services as well. Their office is located in the Jerome Greene Annex, 2nd Floor.
With nine full and part-time staff, the Center for Public Interest Law assists students individually in exploring the role of a public interest lawyer in nonprofit organizations, government agencies, international human rights organizations, academia, and other areas, including pro bono service in private law firms. The Center provides information, counseling, and guidance about permanent jobs, summer and semester internships, and houses Columbia's mandatory Pro Bono Program. The Center also serves as a focal point for students interested in the Law School's public service courses, clinics, and field projects, helping them forge a comprehensive education that meets their evolving individual needs.

Confidential psychological counseling, couples counseling for students and their partners, student life support groups, and medication consultations. While students can see a counselor at any time at the Health Services Office, Dr. Maggi Walker also holds walk-in office hours just for law students on Wednesday afternoons from 4-8 pm in JG 934.
The Columbia Office of Disability Services facilitates equal access for students with disabilities by coordinating accommodations and support services, thereby cultivating a campus culture that is sensitive and responsive to the needs of students.
Columbia’s Health Services provides integrated and accessible services and programs that support the well-being of the campus community, and the personal and academic development of students. They are comprised of more than 100 individuals: medical providers, nutritionists, disability specialists, health educators, therapists, psychiatrists, peer counselors, student personnel, support staff, and administrative professionals.
LL.M. students are welcome and encouraged to participate in any of the Law School’s journals (with the exception of the Columbia Law Review). LL.M. students cannot receive academic credit for their participation; however, if you write an article with the supervision of a faculty member, you can register for Research for the LL.M. Degree and receive academic credit.

This office manages course registration, academic rules and requirements, and the academic calendar; administers exams; processes grades and bar certification forms; and maintains student academic records.
