Cross-Registration
Explore everything Columbia has to offer.
Columbia Law School encourages students to take full advantage of the diverse curriculum offered in Columbia University graduate divisions outside the Law School. Coursework at other Columbia schools can complement and enrich a traditional law school education.
Below is just a sampling of curriculum offered outside the Law School:
- Columbia University Courses
- School of International and Public Affairs Courses
- Environmental Law Courses
- Spanish for the Legal Profession at Columbia University
JD students may take up to 10 of their 83 required credits in cross-registration in Columbia University graduate-level courses related to their legal training, and LLM students can apply up to 6 such credits toward the 24 credits required for their degree. Be sure to consult individual schools for registration procedures. Please contact Registration Services if you have additional questions regarding cross-registration or credit transfers.
