The Colloquium on Courts and the Legal Process brings together judges, scholars, and students to discuss current research about courts and judging. At each workshop, an invited scholar will present work in progress; and a judge of a federal, state, or foreign court will offer commentary on the research. Faculty and students will participate in the open discussion that follows. Students will be expected to prepare written critiques and questions for the speakers, whose topics and research methods will range widely.

This course may be of special interest to students who are considering clerking or academic careers. Admission to the seminar is by permission of the instructor.
