Section Description Provided by Instructor
This seminar will be devoted to an in-depth examination of a number of legal techniques that can be used to fight climate change. Each student will be required to prepare a paper that explores one possible technique; what the technique would achieve; how its success could be assessed; what are the technique's precedents; the legal steps that would be required to implement the technique; and the associated political and economic considerations. The seminar will also explore selected issues in pending international climate change negotiations and other advanced issues.
