L8233 Contracts and Economic Organization

This seminar offers students an opportunity to read and comment upon the scholarly papers and works-in-progress of leading scholars in the fields of contract law and contract theory. The seminar meets seven times during the semester. Each session consists of a presentation by the guest speaker followed by a discussion of the paper. Students will meet individually with the instructor prior to each seminar session to discuss the paper and will prepare short reaction/evaluation papers for each session. Students will be expected to participate fully in the seminar/workshop sessions.
